History of Basketball.

Hello we are Miquel and Joel and this is our blog about basketball, here you can see how basketball was created, the most important leagues around the world, the basketball vocabulary etc. We hope you'll enjoy it.

First of all: a little bit of history.

Basketball was created in a strange way.
James Nashmith created a revolutionary sport.
James was responsible to create a sport that people could play indoor and using the hands, james didn't have any idea about how to do it, but one day, playing American Football, a bad directioned shoot went into a bin of the stadium.
James thought it could be a good way to create a sport, and soon began to think the rules and the court.

At first basketball was played with footballs, there were 9 players on each team, the three-points line didn't exist and players couldn't dunk.

Now rules have been modified and have made basketball more interesting and exciting.
